COLLECTIVE AGREEMENTS COLLECTIVE AGREEMENTS in other family (legal guardian, spouse or common-law partner of father or mother, mother- in-law (including common- law), father-in-law (including common-law), daughter-in-law, son-in-law, grandparents, grandchildren, child of spouse or common-law partner or any relative residing in employee's household). Pay will be limited to number of scheduled working days prescribed plus 1 day to attend funeral, if not within prescribed days. 1 additional tour of duty will be granted to attending funeral service if interment for imme- diate family member occurs at time other than funeral. Seniority – recall rights: 12 months after layoffs. Employee's seniority will not be terminated when remaining away from work because of sickness or disability. Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours of pay at time and one-half. Probationary period: First 6 calendar months of employ- ment. Time lost for personal or health-related reasons will not be counted toward completion of probationary period (period will be extended by number of working days employee was absent from work). Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months for suspensions or disci- plinary actions, including letters of reprimand or any adverse reports. Severance: 3 weeks' pay for each year of service, prorated to nearest month, maximum 60 weeks' salary. 1 additional week severance pay per year of service, maximum 12 addi- tional weeks of severance pay, for employees who volunteer to be laid off or are approached by employer to volunteer to be laid off. Uniforms/clothing: Maximum of $1,500 per full-time anchor. $300 per year (previously $200 per year) for employees who regularly perform anchor duties; $200 per year (previously $100 per year) for employees who regularly perform photo- journalist duties for anchor photojournalists. Wage adjustments: Effective Nov. 1, 2021: 4% Effective Nov. 1, 2022: 3% Shift premium: $0.75 per hour for all hours on second shift, rising to $0.85 per hour on Nov. 1, 2022. 85 per hour for all hours on third shift, rising to $0.95 per hour per hour on Nov. 1, 2022. Paid holidays: 14 days including 2 days between Dec. 24 and Jan. 1 to be designated by employer. Vacations with pay: None unless plant shutdown to start, 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 12 years, 5 weeks after 20 years, 6 weeks after 25 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for first 4 hours worked prior to and beyond normal sched- uled shift in 1 day and double time for all work beyond that. Double time for all hours worked over 12 consecutive hours in workday and all hours worked on statutory holiday. Time and one-half for all hours worked on sixth shift worked in calendar week if at least 40 hours (5x8 workweek) or 36 hours (3x12 workweek) worked.
