COLLECTIVE AGREEMENTS COLLECTIVE AGREEMENTS 36 hours worked by employee on 3x12 schedule. Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Maximum $1,700 per year per covered person for all dental services. Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Coverage of $600 every 24 months for each employee and dependants. Paramedical: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage providing up to $1,200 per employee and each dependant per year. Maximum of $500 per year, no drug coverage for natu- ropathic service. STD: Employer pays 100% of premiums for up to $625 in weekly benefits. LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $1,800 per month. Rises to $1,900 per month on Nov. 1, 2022. Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for $45,000 of coverage. Pension: Employer matches employee contributions between 4% and 4.5%. Bereavement leave: 3 paid days for death of spouse, common-law spouse, child, grandchild, parent, sibling, parent-in-law. 1 paid day to attend funeral of child-in-law, sibling-in-law, grandparent, spouse's grandparent. For step- parents, employer will review on case-by-case basis. Seniority – recall rights: Length of employee's seniority to start; 18 months after 1 year of service; 24 months after 5 years of service. 1 year for absence while on worker's compensation, accident, sick- ness, LTD benefits. Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours' pay at either regular rate or overtime rate, whichever is applicable. Probationary period: 3 months of employment and 520 hours of work. Severance: 2 weeks for layoffs. Shift premium: $10 if working in positions falling within plant schedule, or $8.63 if working in positions falling within office schedule for employee tempo- rarily assigned for 1 or more working days, to position of (or to perform major portion of ) higher classification. $25.90 per day for employee who accepts to temporarily relieve in super- visory position for 1 or more full days. Paid holidays: 12 days. Vacations with pay: 15 days to start, 20 days after 8 years, 25 days after 15 years, 30 days after 24 years. Overtime: Double time for all work after 7.5 or 8 hours per day or 37.5 or 40 hours per week. Employees will be allowed to bank overtime up to maximum of 8 regular working days each year from Jan. 1 to end of 24th pay period. All overtime earned during 25th and 26th pay periods is not bankable and will be paid out as overtime. Meal allowance: Employees working more than 2 hours after end of normal day's work (and at 4-hour intervals there- after) will be supplied with meal or compensated for meal purchased up to maximum of current dinner rate ($23).
