for employees called to work on days off. Paid holidays: 12 days. Vacations with pay: Maximum 15 days to start, 3 weeks after 1 year, 4 weeks after 3 years (4 weeks after 8 years for employ- ees hired after April 15, 2019), 5 weeks after 18 years, 6 weeks af- ter 26 years. Upon termination of employment, employee will be paid out pro-rated amount of vacation days based on number of months worked prior to ter- mination less any vacation time already taken in that year. Overtime: Paid at double time, when requested by employer. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for core extended health care. Employee pays 100% of premiums for Al- berta Health Care. Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums for core extended dental care. Life insurance: Employee pays 100% of premiums. Pension: Employer will provide coverage under Local Authori- ties Pension Plan. Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (spouse (including common- law spouse), mother, father, brother, sister, child, mother-in- law, father-in-law, daughter-in- law, son-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandparents, grandchild, legal guardian, grandmother-in-law, grandfa- ther-in-law). Unpaid leave of up to 3 days may be requested for any other relative or steprela- tive. One-half day when attend- ing funeral as pallbearer.
