Signed on Sept. 1, 2020. Shift premium: All work will be paid at applicable overtime rates, until employee receives 8-hour break, when employee returns to work without 8-hour break. Additional one-half hour of pay, at straight-time rate, if lunch break falls outside regular lunch break established on job. $3.50 per hour for second, third shifts on 2-shift operations. Paid holidays: 11 days. Vacations with pay: 6% on each paycheque. Overtime: Time and one-half for work in excess of regular hours; double time after 12 hours worked. Time and one- half for work on Saturday; double time after 12 hours worked. Double time for work on Sunday. Meal allowance: $40 where it is impractical to provide overtime meal on unscheduled overtime, except when employees are able to receive camp meal at end of shift. $25 where it is impractical to provide overtime meal on scheduled overtime. Medical benefits: Employer will contribute $3.45 per hour to health and welfare plan. Pension: Employer will con- tribute $6 per hour to health and welfare plan. Safety shoes: Employees will report for work equipped with safety boots which will meet following standards: CSA-approved, grade 1 (green triangle), in good condition, at least 6 inches high from sole of boot. Uniforms/clothing: Em- ployer will supply to employee, when required by work they are to perform: safety hats, new sweat-bands, new liners, appropriate welding gloves, appropriate working gloves, welding helmets, welding and burning goggles, appropriate welding leathers (jackets, capes, sleeves), non-prescription safe- ty glasses, leather-faced gloves (unless special processes dictate otherwise). Employer will pro- vide appropriate wet weather gear (rain suit, rubber boots, overshoes), when working conditions require use. Weld- ers' capes will be kept available for temporary issue to welders engaged on work requiring additional protection, such as arc-air gouging and overhead welding. Employer will supply necessary protective clothing (including gloves and coveralls where appropriate) for all cor- rosive work on abnormally dirty or corrosive maintenance, revamp and repair work, in which employees' clothes may be abnormally or permanently damaged. Mileage: $0.52 per road kilo- metre for each day worked or reported for work, from edge of 45-kilometre-radius free zone to project and return. Orientation/onboarding: If employer requires employee to complete employer online orientation and onboarding, employer will estimate reasonable amount of time to complete online orientation and on- boarding where applicable. Employer will pay allowance for completing course equal to time estimate, maximum of 4 hours, multiplied by employee's total package and hourly rate. Waiting and reporting time: 2 hours of pay, plus subsistence if appli- cable, for each of first 2 regular working days employees are kept waiting when employee, on initial hire or transfer to project, is instructed by employer to report to job location on certain day but is not placed to work until later date. Thereafter, waiting pay will be increased to 1 full day of pay (8 hours) for each regular working day. Shorted pay: $100 per day employee is kept waiting from date notification of shortage was received by employer, maximum of $700, if on employee's weekly paycheck, employee is shorted pay. Union promotion: Employer will contribute $0.15 per hour to union promotion fund. Educational training: Employer will contribute $0.60 per hour to educational training fund. Apprenticeship: Employer will contribute $0.15 per hour to apprenticeship fund. National training: Employer will contribute $0.27 per hour to national training fund.
