Training: All employees will possess certificates for a 1 day course on the "Introduction to Occupational Health and Safety," Standard First Aid, CPR, WHMIS Generic, Confined Space Level 1, Fall Arrest and Hazard Control (Flagging). Training will be funded through the union. Moonlighting: Employees engaging in work similar to, or connected with, the activities of the employer after regular working hours are subject to suspension and immediate dis- missal. Life insurance: The employer pays 50 per cent of the premium and the employee pays 50 per cent of the premium. Life insur- ance benefit equal to 2 times employee's salary rounded to the next highest $1,000, to a maximum of $1,000,000. Bereavement leave: 3 days for employee's mother, father, brother, sister, child, spouse, common-law spouse, legal guard- ian, grandmother, grandfather, grandchild, father-in-law, moth- er-in-law or near relative living in the same household. 1 day for employee's son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law or sister-in-law.
