Room and board allowance: $132.50 per day. $137.50 per day effective May 1, 2016. Parking fees: Maximum of $20 reimbursed to employees upon presentation of receipts. Remote sites: 7 days of leave after 31 days on the site or 10 days of leave after 35 days on the site. Previously 10 days of leave after 40 days on the site. Wage adjustments: Effective April 1, 2014: 2.5% Effective April 1, 2015: 2.5% Effective April 1, 2016: 3% Effective April 1, 2017: 3% Shift premium: $1.75 per hour when the majority of a shift falls between 4 p.m. and 8 a.m. $1.75 for work performed on a Saturday or Sunday. Paid holidays: 13 days in- cluding 1 Christmas floater. Time and one-half for all hours worked on a named holiday. Vacations with pay: 2 weeks to start (pro-rated), 2 weeks after 1 year, 2 weeks plus 5 flex credits (can be used as vacation or funding for Health Spending Account) after 8 years, 3 weeks plus 5 flex cred- its after 16 years, 4 weeks plus 5 flex credits after 25 years. In special circumstances, em- ployees may carry over up to 1 year's entitlement. Overtime: Time and one-half for the first 2 hours worked be- yond 8 in one day, double time for all hours worked thereafter. Bereavement leave: 5 days for the death of an immediate family member, including em- ployee's spouse, common-law spouse, or any of the following relations of an employee or employee's spouse: parents, guardian, parents-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, son, daughter, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, niece or nephew, or the husband or wife of any of them. Seniority – recall rights: 1 year. Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours' pay at applicable over- time rate, or compensation for actual hours worked, which- ever is greater. Compensation for time spent travelling to work unless the call-back is contiguous with a normal working period. Time off may be taken in lieu of compensa- tion. One-half hour's pay at regular rate for each 4-hour period an employee is required to be on standby. Probationary period: 6 months. May be extended by an additional 3 months. Safety shoes: Employer to provide personal protective equipment and clothing when necessary. Medical benefits: Gold plan: 80% coverage up to $3,000 per person per year.
