Leads: $2 per hour. Paid holidays: 9 days. Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 5 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 10 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked on sched- uled day off, double time after 8 hours. Meal allowance: $11.50 per hour for working 2 hours of overtime. Dental: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50%. 80% basic coverage, maximum $1,000 per person per year, ex- cept orthodontic, endodontics, periodontic, prosthodontics. Sick leave: 60 hours per year, maximum 100 hours can be banked. Unused leave will be paid in January. Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (parent, spouse, common-law spouse, child, brother, sister, father, mother of spouse, grandparents, grandchildren). 1 day for death of sister-in-law, brother-in-law. Seniority – recall rights: 2 years. Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours' pay. Probationary period: 180 days. Safety shoes: $175 per year. Uniforms/clothing: Ramp employees: 3 pants, 3 shirts, 2 coveralls, 1 rain suit as needed. 1 winter jacket, 1 pair of bibs every 2 years. 3 pairs gloves (winter, summer) per year. Cus- tomer service agents (Wabush only): 1 blazer, 1 skirt, 2 pants, 6 blouses/shirts (long or short sleeve), 1 tie/scarf, 1 belt, 1 pair lined-gloves, 1 winter overcoat (replacement every 2 years). Customer service agents (Deer Lake, Sydney): 3 blouses per year. 1 blazer, 2 pants, scarf, overcoat every 2 years. $25 for dry cleaning. Vacations with pay: 1 week after 6 months, 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks (plus 1 day every 2 years, maximum 5 weeks) after 10 years. Extra 1.5 days per week for every eligible week if 10- year employee takes vacation between Jan. 1 and April 1. Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. Meal allowance: Adequate meal will be provided for work- ing more than 2 hours of over- time, and every subsequent 4 hours. $25 will be given if no meal can be provided. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Sick leave: 10 days per year, plus 2 personal days. Pension: Employer, employee each contribute 50% of 8% of gross pay into RRSP. Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, common-law spouse), son, daughter, mother, father, spouse (including common-law spouse) of mother, father, sister, brother, father-in-law, mother- in-law, spouse of mother-in- law (including common-law spouse), spouse of father-in- law (including common-law spouse), grandparents, any rela- tive who resides in employee's household). 1 day for death of brother-in-law, sister-in-law or to attend funeral of fellow employee. Seniority – recall rights: 24 months. Probationary period: 90 days. Severance: 0 to 3 years: 2 weeks' pay. 3 to 4 years: 4 weeks' pay. 4 to 5 years: 5 weeks' pay. More than 5 years: 5 weeks' pay, plus 4 days per year. Safety shoes: Company will provide one pair of safety boots per year. Uniforms/clothing: Company will provide coveralls, winter jackets, smocks. Sample rates of hourly pay (current, after 1% increase): Head end technician: $27.19 Travel: Employees required to travel on their regular scheduled day off for training shall be compensated with 8 hours' pay. Weather conditions: When reporting for work and employee cannot work due to climatic conditions, employee will receive full day's pay.
