Orthodontics: 50/50 cost- share basis between employer, employee; lifetime maximum $2,000 per covered person. Vision: $350 every 24 months. $125 for eye examination for employees and eligible depen- dents 19 and older every 24 months. Elective laser-vision correction procedures, maxi- mum $1,000 per lifetime. Paramedical: $500 per prac- titioner per year per insured for chiropractors, massage therapists, podiatrists, speech pathologists, physiotherapists, psychologists. Sick leave: 7 days per year. LTD: 75% of employee's cur- rent salary, maximum $3,000 monthly effective on first day following 17 weeks of disability for first 2 years of disability. Ef- fective Jan. 1, 2019: Maximum $4,000 monthly. Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of 2-times annual salary. Pension: OMERS will be pro- vided to employees. Safety shoes: $185 (previously $160) in January of each year for CSA-approved safety boots for each full-time employee; $80 (previously $75) for each part-time employee. $60 to Rideaucrest Home employees for employer-approved shoes. $110 to full-time bus opera- tors; $60 for each part-time bus operator for non-skid black or brown shoes that are suitable with uniform.
