Signed on Jan. 28, 2019. Wage adjustments: Effective Jan. 1, 2019: 2% Effective Jan. 1, 2020: 2% Effective Jan. 1, 2021: 2% Shift premium: Employee will be paid higher rate of pay if employment is 3 hours or more in any 1 day and employee performs duties of higher paid position when employee is required to fill another position having higher rate of pay. $1.34 per hour (previously $1.31 per hour) for shift hours worked outside 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. (if major portion of shift falls outside above hours, employees will be paid shift differential for full shift). $1.87 per hour (previously $1.83 per hour) for lead-hands. Paid holidays: 12 days. Vacations with pay: 3 weeks after 1 year, 4 weeks after 5 years, 5 weeks after 10 years, 6 weeks after 15 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for first 2 hours of overtime (after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week); double time thereafter for work in 1 day. May be taken as time off in lieu, maximum balance of 40 hours at any given time. Banked time to be used on or before pay period 25; all banked overtime will be paid out on or prior to pay period 26 every year. Overtime worked in pay period 26 cannot be accrued as banked overtime. Medical benefits: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums. Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums for employee family assistance program. Employer will allocate minimum $600 per year for employee wellness account. Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Sick leave: 1.25 days per month, maximum 120 days accrual. Employee will receive lump-sum payment of 50% of unused accumulated sick- ness and injury benefits on reaching retirement (after 10 years of service and being 55 years old). LTD: Employee pays 100% of premiums. Life insurance: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums for coverage of 2 times annual salary. Pension: Employer makes 50% of contributions, employee makes 50% of contributions. Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of husband, wife, common-law spouse, child, father, mother, sister, brother, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, father-in-law, mother-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, step- parent, stepchild. Additional 2 days to attend funeral if it is held more than 720 kilometres or 450 road miles from Lloydminster. One-half day to attend funeral as pallbearer. One-half day to attend funeral of friend. Maximum 22 hours of paid leave is employee is executor. Seniority recall rights: 12 months after layoffs. Call-in pay: Minimum of 2 hours of pay at applicable regular or overtime rate (time paid will be from when employee leaves residence until work is complete). Probationary period: 3 months (minimum 520 basic hours). Period may be extended by further 3 months (minimum 520 basic hours). Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years for records of discipline. Safety shoes: $200 per year for safety footwear that meets standards as described in occupational health and safety code (replacement boots will be reimbursed as required due to wear and tear). Tool allowance: $50 per month, payable biweekly, to mechanics (apprentices and journeymen).
